Max Carver portrays the role of Preston Scavo on Desperate Housewives. He took over the role after the five year time jump at the end of Season 5.
Biography[]
Max Carver was born in San Francisco, California, seven minutes after his twin-brother Charlie to parents Robert, a doctor and writer, and Anne, a vintner. In the 8th grade, Max won the role of Demetrius in the school's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, followed by the leading role in Matchmaker as Cornelius. Max then attended St. Paul's School, an internationally renowned boarding school in Concord, New Hampshire. Max spent four years there, where he participated in Lacrosse, Soccer and Hockey, as well as following an interest in the Humanities,Acting, Journalism and Graphic Design. After St. Paul's, Max matriculated into the University of Southern California, where he enrolled in the Thematic Option program. Within a year of arriving in Los Angeles, he was discovered on the street and was signed to a talent agency. Three weeks later, Max and his brother Charlie were cast as the Scavo twins in "Desperate Housewives". Max lives in Los Angeles where he works as an actor and producer while continuing as a student at USC.
