Sylvia follows Adam to Wisteria Lane and claims to be in love with him. Sylvia also claims that the two had a mutual affair. Adam convinces Katherine that Sylvia is lying and is obsessed and mentally unstable. Yet it is found that the two in fact did have an affair, while Sylvia refuses to leave the Van de Kamp residence. Katherine realizes that she is speaking the truth when she talks about the tattoo that Adam has, which has since then been removed. She dies when she is sucked out of Bree's front door and into the heart of the tornado. Later her body is found by Kayla Huntington and identified by Adam and Katherine Mayfair.
