Hey all, I hope you're doing well! I'm Lostris, the Wiki Manager assigned to this community to take over from MakeShift. Like him before me, I am not here to take over or anything like that, so you don't need to worry about that. Quite the opposite even: I'm here to provide support. On one hand, I'll be here to serve as this community's direct line of contact to a full-time Fandom staff member in case you would ever need them. So if you have any questions or instances for which you would normally use Zendesk (like a request to enable or disable certain features, or you have some feedback about something) you can now just reach out to me, and I'll do my best to provide you with an answer and relay all your feedback to the relevant people.
On the other hand, I am also here to provide support on a more local level, which can range from helping to resolve editing issues, assist with design updates, or defuse social conflicts, just to name a few examples. I may also come to you with some suggestions that could make this community even better or to relay general updates that will affect Fandom as a whole and/or this community in particular.
Which brings me to something I want to make sure reaches you all, namely the resuming of the UCP migrations, of which I made a more general announcement here. Apart from the obvious software change that entails, this will also require some changes to, among others, the main page, as there are some elements on there that we know will break on UCP due to certain tags not being ported, such as the rss tags. I will make some changes to the main page to fix these things and perhaps brighten that page up a bit. If you have any suggestions about that, don't hesitate to reach out!
Another point of change will be the deprecation of the chat feature on UCP. You can read more about that decision here.
