Imagine you were Marc Cherry and you could rewrite something, 3 things you didn’t like in the 8 seasons, what would you do? Would you change the reaction someone had in a particular moment? Would you develop a storyline in a completely different way? Or would you simply change some details, like the color of somebody’s outfit?
Well, if I had that chance, that’s what I would do:
- 1. I absolutely wouldn’t kill Mike, his death was too sad and didn’t make sense to me. Not mentioning that both the reason and the way he died were so stupid!
- 2. During the plane crash I would have wanted Orson to die and Karl to survive and then marry Bree.
- 3. I would delete Lynette’s cancer or at least, make that storyline shorter because it made me feel so miserable for her.
- 4. I would give an ending to every storyline in the end of season 8 and also give one to Grace’s and Kayla’s; they just disappeared and were never mentioned again.
- 5. Though I know it was Dana Delany’s choice and I completely respect it and understand it, I would make Katherine stay, I so loved her character!!!
- 6. I am a great supporter of Susan and Mike as a couple, I think they’re simply meant to be, but I didn’t like the way Mike behaved towards Katherine when he left her, it was just, not Mike.
- 7. I would have loved Brenda strong to appear more often in the flashbacks, I so love her!!!
